Physical Therapist Assistant
Matthew Montes
PTA
Matthew Montes is a Physical Therapist Assistant with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and a certified Exercise Physiologist. A Southern California native, Matthew has called Redding, CA home since his high school years and has built both his career and his life in the North State community. Matthew has a passion for helping all individuals reach their rehabilitation goals, with a particular interest in working with throwing athletes returning to sport. His background in exercise physiology gives him a strong foundation in movement, performance, and the science behind recovery. Outside the clinic, Matthew is a devoted father of three who stays active in all the best ways — playing pick-up basketball, competing in coed softball, cheering on his daughter at competitive dance events, and tending to his garden. This year he completed his first half marathon and has his sights set on more endurance events in the future. He brings that same drive and discipline to every patient he works with.
